What do you need to wear and bring along to courses?
The Club supplies training boats and life jackets (PFDs). Trainees need to protect themselves with sun cream and wear hats, top, shorts and old sandshoes/sneakers. For safety reasons, footwear is compulsory around the Club, rigging area and while sailing. Bring a towel and change of clothes to the practical sessions. On Saturdays, the canteen will be open for purchasing hot and cold drinks, salad rolls, pies, sausage rolls and other refreshments from 11.45am.
We welcome parent participation
Parents and guardians not participating in the training courses are welcome to stay at the club while these courses are being run. Their assistance in taking boats to and from the clubhouse to the launching place will be appreciated.
